Renowned Berkeley-based jam maker June Taylor’s 9 oz Pluot Saratoga Bay and Vanilla Bean Butter begins with the same garnet-colored Flavor King pluots from Blossom Bluff Orchard that we use in her Delight, picked at the beginning of their season as June prefers early-harvest fruit. Saratoga Bay Laurel is an aromatic compliment, more complex than Mediterranean Bay with a delicate flavor that is the perfect match for comforting vanilla bean and warming orange.
