Developed by Chef Enrique Olvera to showcase the local flavor of our garden
We created Ground Cherry Cola in collaboration with our friend chef Enrique Olvera as his twist on a classic coke bottle gummy, using fresh ground cherries we grow at the Rose Farm. The Delight begins with our house-made cola syrup, sweetened with brown sugar and organic cane sugar that we melt down into a viscous liquid. Before the mixture caramelizes we halt the cooking and thin the syrup with lemon and orange juice and throw in our aromatics. This year we added a ton of orange and lemon peel, allspice, cinnamon stick, cloves, and vanilla, but were craving some additional complexity, so we added a few shakes of Angostura bitters for a sharper aromatic flavor, and a grating of tonka bean (a cousin of vanilla) for floral nuttiness.
Once we strained out the solids we left the viscous syrup to homogenize and slowly cool before mixing in our ground cherry puree. We reserved the majority of the blended fruit for the end of our cook to preserve as much fresh cherry flavor as possible, leaving on the skins before blending to impart a light bitterness and balance the sugar.

What is hemp-derived THC?
Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) is a compound contained in marijuana plants. Hemp-derived THC is the same exact compound, derived from federally legal hemp flower in compliance with the 2018 Farm Bill.
How are CBD and THC different?
Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) refers to the primary chemical compound responsible for cannabis’ euphoric effects. THC is one of many cannabinoids, or chemical compounds, produced by the cannabis plant that bind to receptors in the body’s endocannabinoid receptors. A majority of cannabis strains are THC dominant, meaning THC is the most abundant cannabinoid. While the effects of THC are often noticeably altering, CBD works differently. CBD is another of the plant’s cannabinoids that stimulates different receptors in the endocannabinoid system. When taken together, they work harmoniously with each other to produce a more subtle, nuanced high.
How will Delights make me feel?
Each individual has their own tolerance with little way to predict. While most edibles contain 20mg+ of THC, Delights are infused with a much smaller dose of a higher quality cannabis extract. This means you’ll likely avoid the common edible experience of being uncomfortably high.
How much should I take?
Start with one and see how you feel. If your desired feeling is not yet reached, wait at least two hours before taking another. Better to err on the safe side and take time to discover your tolerance.

We’re drawn to the natural offering of the flower as it exists in nature, and work to heighten the experience without compromising the plant’s innate qualities.
Whole fruits and vegetables are processed in our kitchen and combined with our slow-extracted flower rosin. Rather than treating each as separate components, the taste of each is adjusted until we achieve a flavorful balance.
Starting with a single strain of whole, cured flower, we apply gentle heat and pressure to release a gooey, resinous substance called flower rosin. This natural extract contains a richer expression of compounds and terpenes and their therapeutic benefits.
